This past Thursday the First XI Field Hockey team and the Development Team made the two and a half hour trip up island to Mark Isfeld to play a game against their two teams.

The Senior team is accustomed to playing on artificial turf, but this game we had to play on uneven grass. In the warm up we noticed that it was definitely going to be a challenge. It was very difficult to get used to the feeling of the grass, but the first half passed with no score.

With so many of our players off with injuries or illness, we only had one substitute. Our goalie this game was none other than Asha U. This was her first time ever playing goal in a game and she played like she has been a goalie all her life. This Bermudian was no triangle; she was a wall!

In the second half Isfeld snuck in two goals. Overall, the girls played an incredible game with lots of pressure in the defense, great plays by the midfields, and good speed by the forwards.
