Mack Pays Back

With the holidays rapidly approaching, Mackenzie House has taken the initiative to pay it forward in our community. This year our house raised $1450 to go towards two local families with young children. Through the local food bank, we were supplied with a wish list of gifts to supply, and with the remaining funds we were able to purchase gift cards to local grocery stores and gas stations to enable the families to purchase food items and gas in the new year. Additionally, the food bank will supply both families with all of the fixings for a holiday turkey dinner.   With the help of Nurse Decker and Ali H, Mack ‘21, we were able to wrap these gifts and prepare them to be sent to the two families.
