And just like that, it's time to say goodbye.  Fifty-five of us lifers gathered in the foyer of the Centre for Art and Humanities for a final reunion with our first friends from the autumn of 2014 and fellow graduates. Enchanted by the spectacular architecture and surrounding art, this night was bound to be special and memorable for all.  We were greeted by our supporting faculty, advisors, and Head of School. MCed by Mr Cowie, corny jokes filled the room with laughter and/or awkward pauses. Before everyone was allowed to stuff their faces with spectacular food, each lifer was given their time capsule which they had made in Grade 9. This consisted of goals we had for ourselves, quotes, memories and questions we could only answer in Grade 12. While most were surprised by what they said, some were pleasantly surprised.  The food services staff prepared wonderful appetizers, a mouth-watering main course and fabulous desserts. After indulging ourselves, Ms Hall celebrated our achievement of four years with a toast. To follow her, a member from each house presented a speech to commemorate the past four years. Each representative told stories and shared how their house has shaped them into the person they are today. Insightful, comical, and emotional, each spokesperson reflected on their unique experiences and about the lessons they learned along the way.  An amazing slideshow put together by Alex T, Allard ‘18 & Daniel M, Ellis ‘18 let us laugh at our baby-faced selves as Grade 9s and gasp at the astonishing changes that every one of us (except Bruno C, Whitall ‘18) experienced. At the dinner’s close, each lifer was given a gift from the school to help us remember our time and experiences at Brentwood. Thanks to all who made this memorable evening a reality, particularly the Food Services Staff and Mrs Martin.  Emma H, Allard ‘18
