Let the Fun and Games Begin

The Woodward Sportplex was shaken to its foundations last night as 230 new students and their Orientation Assistants launched the 2015-2016 Interhouse season with an annual highlight, Fun and Games. With this year’s intake, the school’s largest ever, the entire gym, for the first time, became the battlefield. Time-honoured and much-loved events such Strut Your Stuff, Musical Chairs, Huckle Buckle, Simon Says and Rock, Paper, Scissors allowed our four competitive houses to test their mettle as waves of Blue, Orange, Green and Red clashed at centre court. Ellis/Mackenzie left the others green with envy as they claimed the top prize with Privett/Hope second, Rogers/Allard third, and Whittall/Alexandra facing potential relegation to Shawnigan Lake. Thanks to ringmaster Mr. Rick Rodrigues for his continued leadership and to our six Residential Faculty Assistants, Miss Suderman, Miss Dick, Miss Ramundi, Miss Mullins, Mr. Varro and Mr. Wille for their enthusiastic participation.
