Karaoke in the Kaf

It was a typical Thursday evening; Brentwood students and staff strolled into Crooks Hall, expecting another delicious meal. Except … it wasn’t a typical Thursday. Of course, the meal was fantastic, but on the far side of the building was a stage and a computer filled with songs for karaoke. Led by Ravi R, Rogers ‘18, & John E, Rogers ‘18, the SAC hosted Karaoke in the Kaf, where members of the Brentwood community could serenade the crowd with a song of their choosing.

There were several outstanding performances; Somto D, Rogers ‘18, wowed the crowd with an “interesting rendition” of Taylor Swift’s “22”; Brendan G, Rogers ‘18, slayed Katy Perry’s “California Girls”; and led by Head Prefect Oliver W, Privett ‘18, Nicholas M, Privett ‘18, Ori BC, Privett ‘18, and Sîon G, Ellis ‘18, performed “Summer Loving” from the classic film “Grease”.

I hope everyone in attendance had a great time listening to their peers’ (nowhere near) angelic voices; this definitely brought us closer together as a community.
