Junior Girls Soccer: Another Clean Sheet

At Quamichan for their third league game of the season, the Junior Soccer girls posted another shutout, coming away 5-0 winners. Again, balanced scoring by Natalie, Tessa, Alexa, and Erica (with a pair) made it difficult for the home side to defend. Mairi hit the crossbar but later redeemed herself with a fine left footed cross finding Erica drifting into the slot for a nice left-footed finish. The players were asked to play in some unconventional positions in an effort to mix things up, and found to their surprise, they were quite capable of handling the change. The team next hosts the Gulf Islands on the 22nd and then Prevost also at home on the 24th.
