Junior Girls Get Going
Despite the yearning that these student-athletes had to stay in class, the Junior Girls A and B volleyball teams left to VIU in Nanaimo last Friday morning. After having only two practices together, both teams had an outstanding performance this weekend. Despite missing two starters Ella D, Hope ‘23 and Jocie L Mackenzie ‘22 the A team pulled through by winning five sets on Friday, while the B team’s grit and joy kept them going throughout the whole weekend.
Saturday was much the same with both teams persevering through tough games and the A team pulling through with a silver medal in the second division.
The girls look forward to ISAs coming up in a few weeks!
