Junior Boys soccer double!
Hot off the heels of their Mid-Islands Tournament victory, the Junior Boys have added another piece of silverware to their now somewhat burgeoning shelf. Two crucial away wins this week to Gulf Islands [1-0] and nemesis Shawnigan [2-1] — both teams swept this season by the red and black — guarantees the lads the League title, despite one game remaining in the season.
The team's record now stands at 7 wins, 0 ties, and 1 loss. The boys will have the opportunity to avenge their only loss this year when they host Kelsey next Tuesday in a tune-up for the Island Championships, either May 8-9 or 9-10 in Victoria.
