Junior Boys on the Brink
With our season in jeopardy, the Brentwood Junior Boys have one last shot today of advancing into the Mid Island tournament. We first faced rivals Shawnigan and played a great game, with Ulysses G scoring the game's only goal for a 1-0 win for Brentwood.
With this opening win, we only had to win one more time to advance to the finals, but not before we played Gulf Islands who we had lost to earlier in the season. This game, however, was different with Brentwood crushing Gulf Islands 4-0 with goals from Robbie S, Brendan K, Reid A, and Inigo “In-it-went“ O.
Now that we are Mid Island champions, we will play the winner of the league to advance to the Islands on October 23.
