Junior Boys ISA Championships
The Junior Boys Basketball team went up against their stiffest competition of the year this weekend and were able to take home a 5th place finish at the ISA tournament , held at St. John's School in Vancouver.
We beat Collingwood in our opening game and then came very close to defeating traditional powerhouse St. George's in the semi-final game losing 53-49. This left our boys emotionally spent and unable to compete with the hot-shooting hosts from St. John's who beat us for the third place trophy.
We will be hosting the annual eight team Junior Boys Brentwood North-South Challenge next week at the Woodward Sportsplex from Friday at 1:00 until Saturday afternoon.
