Junior Boys Golden Again
The Junior Boys Basketball team continued their winning ways on the weekend when they came out on top of an eight team tournament in Courtenay at Mark Isfeld Secondary. The boys were led offensively by the dynamic duo of Devin C and Paul L who have consistently led the team in scoring throughout the season.
The boys beat Mark Isfeld in the opening game then followed that up with victories over Parkland Secondary in the semi-finals and then Carihi Secondary from Campbell River in the final game, 56-46.
The boys have one more league game before they finish their season with the Mid-Island Championships at Cowichan Secondary on February 15th-16th.
