Junior Boys Basketball: first league win.

The Junior Boys basketball team started their league schedule on Tuesday with a 43-21 win over the Gulf Islands Scorpions. After a slow first half, that saw the boys clinging to a 2-point lead, Brentwood came out with an inspiring defensive effort to hold the opposition to 5 second half points. Balanced scoring and unselfish play were the key to the success. Chris Seemann and Matt Lee led the troops with 14 points each while Trevor Mansfield and Matt Haines had 8 and 7 points respectively. The boys will play again this weekend in the Victoria Christmas tournament.
