Jazz Band “Digs” that Gold

The Brentwood College Jazz Band struck “Superior Gold”, for the second year in a row, on Wednesday, April 27th when they performed at the West Coast Jazz Festival in Port Alberni. They played three selections including “Old Devil Moon”, “Willow Weep for Me”, and Mambo Jambo, which were well received by the adjudicators. A big thank you is extended to Emily L for complimenting our sax section with her fine playing. We hope the band’s superior performance will lead to an invitation to the Nationals, Musicfest Canada, to be held in Ottawa in 2012. Congratulations Jazz Band!
