On behalf of the Brewer Foundation and New York University, congratulations go out to our Brentwood team for advancing to the “Sweet 16” round of the 19th Annual International Public Policy Forum.

During that 2019-20 competition, more than 150 teams representing schools in 19 countries and 28 US states submitted qualifying round essays. Brentwood’s team was among the best of the best, and the IPPF congratulates Mahir A, Ryangwon K, Nate P, and Michael W with medals and the prize money of $100 US each.

The 2020-21 topic is BIRT: The benefits of artificial intelligence outweigh the harms. Currently the Brentwood P.P.E. (Politics, Philosophy and Economics) programme is preparing six teams to enter this online competition. The organization hopes to provide an outlet for students who are eager to take on the academic challenge and compete against students from around the world.
