Interhouse Soccer

18 November 2010
Interhouse soccer, perhaps one of the most competitive events of the year, was played last Thursday for the senior boys and this Tuesday for the juniors. Though it may have been wet, cold, and windy, devoted house members battled against the weather and each other in the hopes of winning, and maybe, just maybe, becoming a hero by scoring the game’s winning goal. In the senior boys division, Privett narrowly defeated Whittall 1-0 and advanced to the final where they played Ellis, who had edged Rogers. In the final game, the men in blue triumphed again, winning 2-0 against the favored Ellis Eleven. The juniors, smaller in stature but equal in enthusiasm, played on Tuesday. The first round matches advanced Privett and Whittall to the final where they battled it out. Whittall’s men in red were crowned champions. Eric D
