Senior Boys 8+ raced in the High School event in front of thousands of spectators on the Montlake Cut course at the University of Washington. In the closest and most exciting race of the day, Brentwood was edged out by St. George's by a margin of two seconds to place second in the event. The senior eight will have another shot at St. George's this weekend up at Shawnigan.

Martin Barasko pulled 6:15 for 2000 meters on the rowing ergometer on Monday for the 5th fastest time in Brentwood history. It is also the record for the best ever by a Junior B athlete in the school's history. We also think it is a Canadian record. His score beat Malcolm Howard's Grade 10 score by three seconds.
