Image In A National Final

The photo “Bearly Safe” above was taken by Robbie K, Whittall ‘19 and submitted in the Canadian Geographic’s 2017 Wildlife Photography of the Year competition. It has, fittingly, been selected as a finalist. Robbie, who has also earned himself a reputation as a talented and enthusiastic member of Theatre Production, took the photo in late March, on the sea ice off of Baffin island. Fighting a temperature of -30C, he captured a fleeting moment of time.   We wish Robbie the best of luck. The winner will be announced by Canadian Geographic on February 28.
