Ice Hockey on the Move

Over the past week the Brentwood Ice Hockey boys travelled to Vancouver to compete against Kitsilano High School, St. George’s, and Prince of Wales in the new St. George’s Invitational Hockey Tournament.

Unfortunately, we came out in 4th place, but we fought incredibly hard in our four games. This tournament was also fantastic for our preparation in travelling east, to Ontario and Quebec, for our tour.

The Brentwood Ice Hockey program will travel to Central Canada on an eight day full-contact trip to face off against some tough teams. We will start in Port Hope at Trinity College, then a small tournament in Toronto, and finally Montreal.

Highlights of the trip will be going to two NHL Hockey games: the Toronto Maple Leafs vs. the Ottawa Senators, and the Montreal Canadiens vs. the Tampa Bay Lightning!

We have a lot of Ice Hockey ahead of us! Happy skating everyone. Thanks to the indefatigable Mr. Flynn and our team of coaches for giving us these opportunities.
