Ice Hockey off to a good start to the 2007-2008 season

In their first game of the season, the team defeated Frances Kelsey School by a score of 2-1.  Although Landon Douglas scored both of Brentwood's goals, it was a total team effort, with the goal-tending of Beth Chiasson and Cole Stockton being key. In the second game against Shawnigan Lake School, the team faced a big and fast opposition, but through excellent defensive play and goal-tending by Beth Chiasson, the team was victorious by a score of 4-3.  Scoring for Brentwood were Gavin Stephen (with two), Garrett Hanson, and Mylo Palmer. The Junior Team travelled to Chemainus for their first game and, although losing, showed a great deal of promise, scoring 5 goals and impressing the coaches with a solid team effort.  Scorers for the Junior Team were Mike DiPaoli (with two), Dylan LaLonde, Ben Hatch, and Brett Morrison.
