I Got a Feelin'

"I got a feelin', that this year’s going to be a good year"! Alright, not quite the Black Eyed Peas, but looking at the 169 new students joining us this year, it promises to be a terrific year. Who are these new students?  Here are some stats: 71 of them are coming into Grade 9108 of our new students are Canadian17 of our new students are American.  82% of Brentwood’s school population is North American this year.13% of our students are from Alberta this year.Of our international students, 44 new students this year are from 35 different countries!New countries at Brentwood this year?  Pakistan, South Africa, Palau, Nigeria and the Ukraine. I am very excited about this year.  Despite our school having the largest population in its history (445 students), this year has proven itself to be the most competitive admissions season in years. As a result,  the variety of experiences, the diversity, the talent and excitement that our new students will be bringing to our campus is awe-inspiring. I got a feelin’!
