Howard Wins Silver Medal at World Rowing Championships

Malcolm Howard, Class of 2001, and Olympic gold medalist, added another medal to his already impressive rowing resume. In the final event of the Senior World Rowing Championships, Howard, a member of Canada's men's eight won the silver medal, behind Germany. Quoted in the Toronto Star,  "The truth of it is, the Germans asked us the question in the middle of that race and we didn't have the answer for it," Howard said. Also racing in the finals, Jan Tize Class of 2004, in his first Senior World Championships, placed fourth in the finals of the mens coxed pair.
