Howard, Calder and Frandsen Book Seats to London 2012
With their race performances at the World Rowing Championships in Bled, Slovenia this past week, Malcolm Howard ‘01, Dave Calder ’96 and Scott Frandsen ’98 qualified their boats for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Malcolm, a Gold medalist in Beijing in 2008, won a Bronze medal in the men’s 8+. Dave and Scott, Silver medalists in Beijing, placed 5th in the men’s pair. With a little less than a year until the 2012 Olympics, these three and their Canadian National Team teammates will continue their training on Elk Lake.
