Hockey Showcase Games a Success

The Junior and Senior Hockey teams were involved in the annual showcase games against Shawnigan Lake School this past Saturday and won both games. The first game of the night had the juniors who, in their last encounter with Shawnigan played to a draw, defeated our rivals by a score of 4 to 1.  Dylan Johnston led the way with 2 goals with singles added by Loet Huis in't Veld and Joey Robb.  Jack Kornfeld had a very strong game in net. In the final game of the night, our seniors played a very strong game individually and as a team. The game was well played by both teams and the Brentwood side came away with the victory by the score of 2 to 1. Goal scorers were Wam Huis in't Veld and Alex Buss.  Connor Martin played a solid game in net.
Both teams wish to thank all of the Brentwood students, staff and parents who made the night really special.  Your support both in numbers and in volume was very much appreciated.
