The Senior Hockey team is off to their best start in the last decade, firing on all cylinders heading into the second half of the season. Undefeated so far in league play, the team has been guided by a common word, relentless. This is the mentality of a team where its contributors span from front to back, and every player is valued. A take-no-prisoners attitude has led to high scoring bouts with perennial powerhouses Shawnigan and Kitsilano, beating both handly.  Luke W, Whittall ‘18, first line left winger and powerplay member, believes that the positivity amongst the team, complimented by the closeness of the guys, is a big reason for the success. He also believes they can take this streak into the latter half of the year if they keep this mentality.  2018 has already presented a more demanding schedule, with a commanding 12-6 victory over Lake Cowichan Secondary, and tight 4-2 win over Shawnigan to kick off the new year. With big moments like the Salville Cup at the end of January against longtime rival St. Georges, the completion of league play, and finally the Ross Cup Tournament to cap off the season, we have lots to look forward to. This next half of the season will be the true test to see if this team can live up to the high expectations they have set for themselves.  Luke H, Whittall ‘18
