Help BEAT Hunger
The second annual Brentwood Environmental Action Team’s Hunger Banquet will be held Sunday, January 29, from 5:00 until 8:30 pm at the McNeill Centre in Crooks Hall. Last year this event raised $1,100 for the CMS Foodbank and a great deal of awareness in our community.
Tickets are a $15 donation which entitles each guest to a lottery style dinner, dessert and festive entertainment. To reflect the dietary state of the world’s population, 15% of our guests will feast on Veggie Lasagna, Chick Pea and Potato Curry, Salad, Garlic Bread and Juice. The second group (25% of the guests) will be served a much more modest meal of rice, beans, and juice. The remaining 60% of our ‘world’ population with subsist on rice and juice.
Festive entertainment, however, will be enjoyed by all. Students to perform include three student Rock Bands, the Vocal Jazz Choir and selected individuals.
