Girls Rugby Wrapup
Entering the 2022 season, it was the majority of our team’s first time on the rugby pitch. The players have come together dedicated to creating a positive team environment, as well as progressing individual and collective skills. Our forwards create opportunities with plays like Ginger and Little, and our backs follow through with hot balls and train tracks helping us to move the ball up the field to the try line! We have gained experience through the resilience of our losses, and the achievements in our wins, continuing to build confidence and improve our skills each time we put on our cleats.
Our amazing coaches Mandy Marchak, Mr Dave Cowie and Mr Cowie have inspired us through their dedication, experience and knowledge. Our team is built on perseverance, respect and camaraderie. It has been incredibly rewarding to return to games after two years. Our 2022 season has been a huge success creating momentum for years to come. On behalf of the team, we would like to thank our coaches for all their support.
