Girls' Rugby win over Reynolds

On a sunny Tuesday afternoon the Brentwood girls' rugby team opened their high school season with a convincing win over a game but inexperienced side from Reynolds SS from Victoria. The starting team moved the ball well scoring 3 tries in the first 10 minutes lead by Ginny R and Dani R. As some of our more inexperienced girls entered the game, it became more of an even contest with a lot of spirited running and tackling. Krista F and Nicole R scored with penetrating runs through the middle. Mabel L earned the final try running in support of Chelsea after a quick penalty and carrying two defenders with her into the in-goal area. It was a confidence building win in which every player in the group took part.
