Girls Rugby Gets Started 1

As the competitive term has come thundering down on our team, our girls have risen to the occasion bringing sportsmanship, good energy, and determination to every game. It is no secret that our team is in a developmental phase, as over half of our numbers are comprised of junior girls. With this in mind, watching the dedication that each girl puts on the field is inspiring.  At the start of the season we decided to list off things we wanted to value as a team: humility, positivity, mental toughness, selflessness, hard work and commitment quickly stood out to us as a team. So far we have continually pushed to always incorporate these values in both our games and practices.  With every game that we play each girl shows tremendous improvement and commitment to the team. While we still have much to improve and master, it is very reassuring to be able to look back at how far the team has come as a whole.  Chloe P, Hope ‘18
