Fusion. Pipedream or panacea?

Dr. Peter O'Shea, who took his doctorate at MIT in fusion research, will be giving a lecture tomorrow, Friday (13th June), on the science behind nuclear fusion and the advantages and disadvantages of this technology in terms of the environment. Dr. O'Shea is currently engaged in semiconductor materials research and will be very happy to answer questions after his presentation on the subject of the lecture or relating to career paths in science. 7.30 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre.
