The annual Brentwood Fall Fun Fair took place last Saturday, allowing for the school community to begin the new season on a high note. Bouncy castles and giant hamster balls, as well as a variety of food, ranging from corn dogs and bbq chicken wings to snowcones, were at the convenience of the attendees,

Throughout the night, students were invited to participate in scheduled competitions, such as 3 legged racing and Pie Eating competitions. Privett Senior Bright A won the boys Pie Eating competition and received a $20 gift certificate to the uptown supermarket. Bright said that the contest was “Worth it” and he was glad he participated in the event. Other participants received participant medals for their efforts.

Members of the SAC (Student Activity Council) who organised the event, as well as other students, helped volunteer throughout the night. Book P, who managed the chicken wing booth said that “It was nice to help out. I would do it again”. His brother Bung, who also volunteered, said that he “Enjoyed helping out” as well.

By the end of the night, members of the SAC helped pack up any of the games or food left over, as well as anything else lying around, to ensure that the field was left in good condition.

The night ended with an outdoor movie screening. This year's selection was the 1984 classic Ghostbusters. There viewers were treated to fresh popcorn and cold beverages, served by staff and volunteers throughout the night. Down by the water on the field, students sat on the field and watched the 35 year old film together, and with their friends, enjoyed their Saturday night.
