During the first part of midterm, part of the Senior Girls and Boys rowing teams bussed down to Seattle for a busy weekend of racing and fun. The crews competed in two regattas: Frostbite at Green Lake, and Head of the Lake at Lake Union.  Both the girls and boys brought home impressive results, with the boys’ eight placing second by 0.3 seconds to Green Lake and the girls’ quad placing third. To balance work and play, the group attended an exciting Washington Husky football game versus the ranked Utah Utes.   On Sunday, the girls’ eight fought hard against tough competition, placing in the middle of the pack. The boys placed fifth overall while being the second fastest boat from the Pacific Northwest. Aidan W, Ellis ‘17 placed third overall in the Jr A Single behind “two monsters” from the United States.  All crews had impressive showings that the coaches were pleased with, marking the end of fall racing. Well done to all crews! Petra J, Mack, ‘16
