The Brentwood College School Senior Boy's First XV rugby team played for a provincial title this past Saturday.

The Senior Boy's First XV kicked off their campaign for a provincial title this past Saturday, taking on Esquimalt in front of an enthusiastic home crowd. In the blistering heat, the boys took control early and jumped out to a 47-0 lead at the break. The second half allowed the substitutes to gain some valuable experience and score a further 34 points.

Notable play came from lock Ian M with some strong tackles. 8-man Kai P broke the defensive line numerous times, and fly half Graem B capped off the game in convincing fashion. An all-around strong game was achieved by the whole squad and the final whistle brought the game to a close at 81-0.

The team will now travel to Abbotsford’s Rotary Stadium where we will play Southridge on Wednesday. With any luck, our #2 ranked team will also play games on Thursday and Saturday.
