Faculty Tablet Laptops
This summer Brentwood faculty members are getting 37 tablet laptops from Hewlett-Packard. These computers were chosen by the faculty to assist them with teaching in the classroom and ongoing professional development. The tablet functionality was requested specifically to facilitate marking assignments and giving presentations in class.
Each tablet weighs 3.7 lbs and has wireless capabilities. These business-class machines have ruggedized features and are built for portability. With sufficient battery life to complete an entire teaching day without recharging, these low-powered tablets support the school's sustainability goals.
