Face Off: The Ross Cup
This weekend Brentwood will be hosting the 12th annual Ross Cup Ice Hockey Tournament at the Kerry Park Arena. For the first time, Brentwood has entered three teams: one junior and two senior. The junior competition will feature our skaters taking on Chemainus, Queen of Angels, Mount Prevost and Quamichan. In the senior division six teams including St. Georges, Point Grey, Kitsilano, Lord Tweedsmuir, and Brentwood’s 1st and 2nd teams will battle it out.
All 21 games and both skills competitions will be played at Kerry Park between 11am and 8pm Thursday, 9am to 10:40pm Friday, and 9am to 4pm Saturday. The junior final will be on Saturday at 12pm and the senior final at 2pm.
The fans are always extremely vocal during the Ross Cup, and with the fantastic hockey season so far this year we hope the teams will put on a great show.
