Brentwood students always enjoy their well-deserved breaks, but when adventure and the pursuit of excellence present themselves, many trade in their holidays for hard work and camaraderie.
More than 100 students returned to campus yesterday (two days before classes resumed) to prepare for their end-of-year competitions. 45 rowers, juniors and seniors, boys and girls, are back honing their skills in preparation for their National Championships, St. Catharines’ CSSRAs, in early June.
Likewise, the Girls Rugby team and the Senior Boys Rugby team are back to prepare for their BC Provincial Championships this week and next.
The best of luck to these industrious and dedicated athletes and to their coaches and houseparents who have also shortened their holiday time to ensure the best possible performances in these important competitions.
