Duet in Dublin

Old Brentonian Natalie Moreland, ‘17 has been busy since graduating on June 23. On the Canada Day weekend she represented the North Island at the BC Rugby Provincial Championships. Her play there led to selection to British Columbia’s U18 Women’s rugby team on its summer tour of Ireland.

On Monday, in Dublin, Natalie had the opportunity to spend time with her former Brentwood rugby coach, Kelly Russell. Kelly, Canada’s Captain at the Women’s Rugby World Cup, is preparing for Canada’s final pool match against world #2 New Zealand. 

Kelly has scored three tries in Canada’s first two games against Hong Kong and Wales and was named Woman of the Match against the Welsh on the day of her 50th cap for Canada.
