Crooks Hall Named Judges’ Choice Winner
On Thursday, April 14th, Brentwood’s Crooks Hall was the recipient of two prestigious awards at the fourth annual Vancouver Island Real Estate Board’s Commercial Building Awards: the Judges’ Choice Award for best overall entry and the Excellence Award in the Institutional category.
The Art and Mary Jane Crooks Hall, which opened one year ago, features our dining hall, the McNeil Student Centre, the Saville Centre for Business and Entrepreneurship, as well as the school store and laundry services.
Awaiting the final paperwork for certification as a LEEDS (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Gold Standard building, Crooks Hall is a state of the art green project, recognized as “one of the smartest buildings” in North America.
