Cowichan Music Festival Winners

During the recent Cowichan Music Festival, all our Brentwood students walked away with top honours in their categories.  Andrew Butler scored a 1st and a 2nd place in the musical theatre voice category.  Hope King received two 2nd place certificates for her musical theatre voice entries.  Christina Hyun placed 1st and 2nd in her class for flute performance.  Cassandra Yoon placed 1st in both her romantic and impressionistic piano repertoire. Lucy Wren received a 3rd place standing with her impressionistic piano repertoire, while Vicky Chiu placed 1st in Classical, 2nd in Impressionistic, and 1st in Bach. Vicky also received an award and was invited to play at the Festival Gala concert on Saturday the 7th of March.  Considering that the above students were the only Brentwood entries, those are pretty good odds. Congratulations to all our winning students and their supportive teachers. Bravo!
