Colts Rugby Earns Twin Wins
The Colt Rugby team played their first game of the season last Thursday against Claremont, winning 42-5. Tries were scored by Ole B, Patrick B, Joe L, Liam L, Keaton A, Josh S and Scott H with Daniel KB making the conversion. The boys played a quick-footed and aggressive game, setting Claremont on their heels early in the game. Brentwood also dominated scrum play with hooker Sean J leading the pack.
The boys continued their winning ways by defeating an Australian touring side, All Saints, 12-0 on Thursday. Ole B and Patrick B scored the tries while Tom S converted. Strong games were played by Flo F, Nick W and Dane B.
The boys next play on Saturday, April 14 at Claremont SS in Victoria against Kamloops (11:00 am) and Alberni District SS (1:30).
