Club Volleyball Season Update

This January, eighteen girls are playing club volleyball at Brentwood twice a week. Club volleyball welcomes players from any school, including players from as far away as Campbell River and Victoria in recent years. This year our school is facilitating two teams (U16 and U18) playing for the Mill Bay Club. These teams will be participating in play days (informal tournaments) as well as some province-wide Super Series tournaments that bring together approximately sixty teams. Volleyball is one of the most popular female sports in the province and the Mill Bay club has produced a number of university-level players. For girls who are devoted to volleyball, the club program allows them to play from September until mid-May while surviving on beach volleyball during the summer.
