Celebrating Mother’s Day

11 May 2013

Beautiful sunshine warmed the Brentwood campus this week, just in time for Mother’s Day. Students and faculty have been preparing their cards, letters, bouquets of flowers and other tokens of love and appreciation to be sent home to surprise Brentonian mothers all over the world.

As many Brentwood students live on campus and cannot be there to celebrate Mom’s special day, students have been planning the best way to let Mom know how much she is appreciated and loved. Some students are planning to send a heartfelt letter or have Mom’s favourite flowers delivered, and some lucky boarders will be able to visit Mom this Red Saturday weekend in the hopes of treating Ma to a delicious meal.

Mothers across campus and in the area will be delighted on Sunday when Brentwood hosts a delicious Mother’s Day Brunch in Crook’s Hall from 10:00 until 12:00 hosted by the SPARC to helps raise awareness and funds for the Relay for Life. For details please contact Mrs. Andrea Felix at andrea.felix@brentwood.bc.ca
