Brentwood wins the ISA Jr. Girls' Soccer Tournament
Our junior girls soccer team, which has already won the mid-Island league and the mid-Island tournament, won the ISA trophy at St. Michael's University School in Victoria last Friday.
The girls tied Collingwood 1-1 in their first match and then moved on to defeat York House 1-0 to win Pool A. They moved on to defeat West Point Grey 2-0 in the semi-finals, then exercised their collective wills upon Collingwood in the gold medal match 3-0. Tournament all-stars were Mairead M., Mairi H., and Georgia L.
The girls have played 10 games with 8 wins, 2 ties, and 0 defeats. Next, they're off to the Islands in Port Alberni from May 13-14. Great job girls!
