Brentwood Students Participate in Science Workshop at UBC
Some of Brentwood's top science students gave up the first day of the Spring Break to participate in a science workshop at UBC: the third annual "Most Excellent Escapades in Science" at the Michael Smith Laboratory for Advanced Molecular Biology. In addition to lectures from world renowned scientists, there were some hands-on components in topics such as microfluidics, DNA analysis, and pneumatics. Apparently Brentwood students dominated the "pom-pom challenge" by discovering that by wetting their projectiles they would fly much further from the blow tubes!
