Brentwood Rugby Cracks a Century!

May has shone favourably on the Brentwood Senior Rugby program. This "Super Saturday" weekend, which showcased some of the best 1st and 2nd XV rugby in the province, saw both rugby teams win convincingly. In the 2nd XV game, Brentwood ran away with a 53-3 victory over Semiahmoo from White Rock.  The quality of the Brentwood team play was such that to choose a player of the game would be impossible. Each and every player was an integral part of this excellent performance. The afternoon's 1st XV game pitched the Number 1 ranked Brentwood College School against the Number 2 ranked, and 4-time defending Provincial Champion, Rockridge High School. Brentwood raced to a quick start and scored 14 points in the first 10 minutes and never looked back. As in the 2nd XV game, our boys displayed excellent team play on both offence and defence and won 61-0! The team is now on excellent footing for the Provincial Championship tournament and will be counted as one of the favourites.
