Later this summer there will be Brentwood athletes, present and past, racing in events all over the world including all three international levels, Junior, Under 23, and Senior. I challenge any other high school in the world to boast this remarkable achievement. Brendan Hodge, Whittall ‘02 will bow Canada’s Lwt 4- at the Pan American Games in Toronto and the Senior World Championships on France’s Lake Aiguebelette. Martin Barakso, Whittall ‘12 will row in the Men's 2- and 8+ at the Pan American Games after returning from English Henley with his Princeton Varsity 8+. At the Under 23 level in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Rielly Milne, Whittall ‘14, was named to the United States Men's 4+. Three ‘15 Brentwood Grads will be representing Canada at the Junior World Rowing Championships in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. Elliot Rogers will row in the Men’s 4x while Evie Anguelov & Sydney Payne will combine in Canada’s Women’s 2-. This event is the dress rehearsal for the 2016 Olympic Games. Two returning Brentwood rowers will also represent Canada at the CanAmMex Regatta in Mexico City, Mexico, July 11 and 12. Ellis H will compete in the 2- and 8+ while Alex R will race in the 2x and 4x. Mr. Brian Carr  has been named as the coach of Canada’s sculling team. Finally, Jordan Hamilton ‘16 will be racing for Manitoba at the 2015 Western Canada Games. Stay tuned to this channel for more results to come over the summer of 2015.?
