Brentwood Rock Bands play Regatta

Brentwood’s 4 rock bands and various other students will be performing live this weekend in front of the 5,000 visitors to our campus at the Brentwood Regatta.  Rock Band is one of the 28 Fine Art options available for Brentwood students (as well as the 24 athletic options). It is an exciting time of year for our rock bands as the Brentwood College Rock/ Composition Band students have an excellent opportunity ahead of them. At the end of April they will be heading into a professional recording studio (woodshoprecordings.com) where each class will be given one session to record their three favorite songs. By the end of the school year every student will leave for summer vacation with three copies each, fully packaged. This is an excellent opportunity allowing the students to gain experience in a recording studio and as well working with one of Vancouver Island’s top producers, Zak Cohen.
