Brentwood Musicians Contribute Locally

Brentwood College School is proud to sponsor the 17th Annual Festival of the Bands 2010 on Sunday, March 28th at the T. Gil Bunch Centre for the Performing Arts. This evening of musical entertainment is raising post secondary educational bursaries for special needs children graduating from Cowichan Valley Secondary Schools and funding musical therapy in the Cowichan Valley. Musical guests will involve over 200 musicians, directors, and technical crew, including Brentwood College Pops Orchestra, Jazz Band, and Vocal Jazz Ensemble in addition to the Mount Prevost College Band and the George Bonner Jazz Band with special guests Belmont Secondary R& B Band "Soul 62". This event is produced by our Head of Music, Phil Newns, and all the donations and sales will go directly to the organizations.
