Brentwood Hosts Senior Volleyball Classic
This past weekend Brentwood hosted the Brentwood-Kelsey Classic Volleyball tournament. With 16 teams attending, the Brentwood Senior A girls team came in 8th and the Junior A girls 15th.
Schools from all over the island and the mainland came out including Brentwood’s top AA rival schools. This made for a great weekend of volleyball. Brentwood’s Senior A girls came out with two wins early in the tournament against Ladysmith and Archbishop Carney. With a tough loss against STA 17-25 and 25-27, the girls placed second in their pool. Saturday’s games against Vanier and Belmont also ended in losses.
Though we didn’t come out on top like we had hoped, the tough competition has made us stronger. Big congratulations to both Brentwood teams in the tournament, and a special thanks to all the Brentwood students who came out and supported!!
