Final exam were coming up! Everybody was preparing so hard but it’s always a good idea to get some rest during these stressful times. That is why the Student Activity Committee (SAC) held Brentwood Beach Day 2018 on June 9. There were so many activities for students to participate in. The most important one, of course, was swimming in the clear blue water between the docks. A Slip & Slide was also be available for students to have fun with. For the safety of the students, the school deployed certified student lifeguards who earned their qualifications with the school last term.  In addition to the waterfront events, the Great Brentwood Cook-Off was happening. Brother and sister house representatives cooked with specific ingredient assigned by the judges. There was also be a water pong table competition, an open mic, and a watermelon-eating contest. Cotton candy, popcorn, root beer, and orange floats were served at the waterfront as well. A tailgate party was even held in Crooks Hall by our beloved Food Services Department. And … don’t forget the Beach Party Dance on the plaza under the starlight. There were DJs and everyone had a good time. This was the last SAC event of the 2017-2018 school year. Thanks to them for a great evening and a great year. Book P, Privett ‘20
