Biodiesel

Aron Zharadka and Kevin Kim claimed a Brentwood first by making their own biodiesel from canola oil and simple organic chemicals. They had to do some high-powered chemical calculations to work out the expected amount of fuel and were both well pleased by the result, almost 100% yield. Their next step is to make another batch using filtered, used vegetable oil and to try both samples in a diesel engine for comparison.
